Mashle Season 3 Release Date and Streaming Details
The third season continues the anime based on Hajime Kōmoto’s manga, and it arrives two years after the second season premiered in January 2024. Crunchyroll streamed both earlier seasons as they aired in Japan, along with English dubs, and the same worldwide approach is in place for the new run.
The overall project is described as a complete anime adaptation, which makes this arc a major milestone for fans who have followed Mash Burnedead’s muscle-powered journey through a world obsessed with magic.
Mashle Season 3 Staff and Returning Cast
Several familiar names are back behind the scenes. Tomoya Tanaka returns as director at A-1 Pictures, with Yōsuke Kuroda handling scriptwriting and series composition and Masaru Yokoyama returning as composer.
There is one notable change in the team: Chiaki Furuzumi takes over as character designer, replacing Hisashi Higashijima. Furuzumi previously worked as chief animation director and sub-character designer on both seasons of Solo Leveling, so the new season arrives with a fresh visual hand at the top.
Returning cast members have also been confirmed, keeping the core voices intact as the story moves into its Divine Visionary Final Exam arc.
How Mashle Got Here
The anime’s first season premiered in Japan in April 2023 and ran for 12 episodes, introducing Mash, a young man with no magic in a society that prizes it above all else, who powers through every problem with sheer physical strength.
The second season followed in January 2024, again for 12 episodes, and kept the same mix of deadpan comedy and over-the-top action that made the series stand out. Season 3 now picks up that thread in January, with Crunchyroll carrying it to fans outside Japan and China.
With the arc title promising a final exam at the highest level of the magic world, the new season looks set to raise the stakes for Mash and his friends. More details, including an exact January premiere date, are expected closer to launch.
