Kyle Fletcher has a very simple explanation for why he and Kevin Knight failed to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at WrestleDream: his partner is, in Fletcher’s words, a “stupid poo-poo head.”

Speaking on his latest Protolog, Fletcher reflected on the October 17 title match and did not hold back about where the blame lies.
Kyle Fletcher Blames Kevin Knight for AEW WrestleDream Tag Title Loss
At AEW WrestleDream on October 17, the AEW World Tag Team Titles were on the line as champions The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) defended against the Don Callis Family pairing of Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher. The match was an intense back-and-forth affair, but the challengers’ hopes unraveled when a spat between the partners — instigated by Knight — opened the door for the Bucks to retain.
Fletcher’s verdict was blunt: “We did not win the championships because Kevin Knight is a stupid poo-poo head, and I’m gonna have some very choice words with that man. Because I should be a tag team champion of the world.”
He added, with a touch of exhaustion: “But I digress. I’ve now very tired. Today is over. Cut me some slack. I got super kicked at least 10 times in the face.”
What Next for Fletcher and Knight?
The loss leaves the Don Callis Family duo without gold — and with a visible fracture between them. Whether Fletcher’s “choice words” lead to a reconciliation or a full-blown split remains to be seen, but the tension between the two is now very much part of the story.
Fletcher has also spoken recently about watching back every match he competes in, a habit that may make this particular loss even harder to sit through.
