CMLL confirmed the two new bouts on October 28, continuing the build toward one of the biggest cross-promotional events on the lucha libre calendar.
Yota Tsuji and Hirooki Goto Team at CMLL x NJPW Lucha Kingdom
In the headline addition, Goto will take the place of El Desperado to team with Tsuji in a relevos increíbles tag match against Mexican legends Místico and Último Guerrero. Pairing the reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion with the veteran Goto against two of CMLL’s most decorated stars gives the show a genuine dream-team feel.
The other new match is a singles bout between Bárbaro Cavernario and Konosuke Takeshita — a clash of styles that pits Cavernario’s wild, hard-hitting lucha against Takeshita’s power-based, internationally polished offence.
