The Viral “Proof” Behind the NCT Ten Dating Rumors
The rumors started with a now-deleted post on X that reached millions of views. The post appeared to show that Ten and a woman — described as an influencer — had stayed at several of the same hotels, which commenters read as implied evidence of a romantic relationship. As often happens with idol dating rumors, speculation spread fast, with fans debating whether the hotel overlaps meant anything at all.
How Ten Debunked It Himself
Rather than waiting for an agency statement, Ten took the microphone and did it himself. During the Houston stop of his U.S. showcase tour, he brought up the rumors and shut them down on the spot, calling himself “super single” in a way fans found both blunt and funny. Clips from the concert quickly went viral, with fans joking that Ten — who recently left SM Entertainment for a new agency — debunked a rumor simply by saying “Wtf??? No???” in so many words.
The idol’s new agency followed up with an official statement on artist protection, thanking fans for their support and asking them to report malicious rumors and comments about the artist directly to the agency, as unfounded rumors continue to circulate online.
