Phantom Blade Zero: How to Find and Beat the Three-Faced Puppet (Triple Threat Guide)

Where to Find the Three-Faced Puppet

Your first encounter happens in Weeping Creek Valley, less than an hour into the campaign. As you cross the cliffside section, look for a ladder descending to a ledge with a curious statue — and a bell called The Lady’s Rift beside it. Interacting with the statue teleports you to a temple where the Aberrant Three-Faced Puppet awaits.

How to Beat the Three-Faced Puppet

The boss is tenacious: she frequently teleports, emerging from rifts to strike you, so you need to time your dodges and parries precisely. Since this fight comes early, there is no shame in walking away — you can come back later once you have upgraded your weapons and increased your maximum health. At minimum, try to defeat her before entering the Mirage Estate (the location reached after visiting all four Serpent Houses, near the campaign’s tail end).

Victory triggers the Triple Threat quest, which tasks you with learning the puppet’s true identity. Clues are scattered across the Wulin, including portals in the Mandate Encampment and the Mountain of Imprisonment that lead to the domain of the Three-Eyed Puppet — so keep exploring before the final confrontation.
