Tommaso Ciampa is getting one more shot at Andrade El Idolo. The AEW National Championship will be on the line in a rematch on the Saturday, November 7 episode of AEW Collision, announced during Fright Night Collision.
The two previously clashed at AEW WrestleDream, where Andrade retained his title. Since then, the rivalry has only intensified — Ciampa jumped Andrade last week, and followed up with an impressive win on Fright Night Collision to earn the rematch.
Andrade vs. Ciampa Headlines Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager
The November 7 edition of Collision emanates from Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager, giving the title rematch a special-event stage. Ciampa will be looking to finally unseat El Idolo after coming up short at WrestleDream.
Since arriving in AEW, Ciampa has made it clear he’s chasing every title in the company — and the National Championship is the one that’s eluded him. He told reporters after his WrestleDream loss that he runs “marathons, not sprints,” and this rematch is the next mile.
Can Andrade retain once again, or will Ciampa’s persistence pay off in front of the Rock ‘N Wrestling Rager crowd?
