Danhausen Spins the Wheel, Mayhem Ensues

The match carried a Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal stipulation, and Premium Live Event host Danhausen came out with the Minihausens to spin the wheel that would decide the match type. It landed on ‘Very Nice, Very Evil Match’ — and it lived up to the name.

Dempsey came to the ring backed by all of BirthRight: Lexis King, Arianna Grace, Uriah Connors and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo. The numbers game was clearly designed to protect Dempsey and neutralize Fatu’s power.

But Fatu refused to be neutralized. Despite being surrounded, he fought off the group one by one and secured the win over Dempsey — a statement victory on one of NXT’s biggest stages of the year.

The result is a major moment for Fatu, who continues to build his reputation as one of the most dominant forces in NXT. For Dempsey, the loss stings — even with BirthRight in his corner, the Samoan powerhouse was too much to handle.
