The Pittsburgh Steelers didn’t just beat the Cleveland Browns 27-6 on Sunday — they buried them, then trolled them. After a dominant Week 8 performance at Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh’s social media team led the NFL’s weekly trolling with a series of dog-themed jabs aimed squarely at Cleveland’s Dawg Pound faithful.

Steelers Troll Browns With Dog Memes After 27-6 Win
One post showed a car’s reverse-camera view displaying a smiling dog, captioned “ruh roh,” suggesting the Steelers were about to back right over the Browns’ beloved canine mascot identity. Other posts featured dogs wearing Steelers gear — a clear play on Cleveland’s Dawg Pound fan section.
The trolling was backed up by a mauling on the field. Pittsburgh’s defense sacked Deshaun Watson eight times, forced two turnovers, and the offense piled up 200 rushing yards, with Jaylen Warren rushing for 143 yards and Rico Dowdle adding 56. The win gave the Steelers sole possession of first place in the AFC North as the Ravens stumbled.
The Browns entered the game hoping for their first regular-season win in Pittsburgh since 2003 and a chance to sweep the Steelers for the first time since 1988. Instead, they left with their worst loss of the season and meme-worthy humiliation.
NFL Week 8 Trolls: Bills and Rams Join the Fun
Pittsburgh wasn’t the only team getting petty. The Buffalo Bills joined the trolling after their 36-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens, and the Rams shared an image of their mascot Rampage holding a lightning bolt after a victory. Week 8’s slate of blowouts gave the league’s social media teams plenty of ammunition — and as always, the Steelers’ dogs-versus-Dawg-Pound theme was the most savage of the bunch.
