The series follows an unprecedented kidnapping case unfolding simultaneously across seven Asian cities — Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Singapore, Bangkok, Naha and Manila — where seven individuals are given different missions and forced into a deadly survival game. Each must complete their assignment before anyone else to save their loved ones and survive.
kiDnap GAME episode 5: three players collide in Taipei
In the new episode, Tokyo detective Niide Toshiro (Sakaguchi Kentaro) and Seoul doctor Han Ki Joo (Lee Joon Gi) — who teamed up to break the game’s rules — finally come face to face with Christina Lin (Alice Ko), the Taipei participant. With only one person destined to survive, the psychological battle among the three is set to take the suspense to another level.
Christina Lin’s desperation is laid bare: with her husband held hostage, police pressure mounting and her daughter pleading with her, she reveals that she too has received the same brutal “murder mission” as Han Ki Joo. But her true intentions remain hard to read — secret late-night meetings with a lover and unpredictable moves keep everyone guessing.
What else to expect tonight
Viewers will also see Niide Toshiro’s fierce physical showdown with the mysterious men tailing them, plus a crucial clue Han Ki Joo uncovers after recovering fragments of his memories involving Christina from five years ago. How these revelations shake the larger conspiracy behind the deadly game is tonight’s big question.
