Brewers Lead MLB Award Finalists With Misiorowski, Turang, Murphy, Megill
Misiorowski is a heavy favorite to win the National League Cy Young Award, having finished as one of the top three vote-getters. “The Miz” led the majors with a 1.80 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and 252 strikeouts, going from 66 career innings entering 2026 to the ace of a World Series champion. His competition: Chris Sale of the Braves and Cristopher Sánchez of the Phillies.
Gold Glove second baseman Brice Turang is a finalist for NL MVP, up against favorite Pete Crow-Armstrong — who hit .280 with 45 homers and 41 steals — and four-time MVP Shohei Ohtani. Skipper Pat Murphy could become the first to win three consecutive Manager of the Year awards, while closer Trevor Megill is a finalist for NL Relief Pitcher of the Year, a new category this season.
