AEW is back in Orlando, Florida for a huge night as WrestleDream 2026 takes over the Addition Financial Arena on October 17, 2026. The show streams live on PPV, with a Tailgate Brawl pre-show on TNT and MyAEW handling international viewers. At the center of it all is a wild new match concept: Clockwork Carnage.

Will Ospreay Defends in a Chaotic Clockwork Carnage

The main event will see Will Ospreay defend the AEW World Championship against seven challengers in the Clockwork Carnage match: Samoa Joe, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Adam Copeland, Konosuke Takeshita, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet and Darby Allin. Two competitors start, a new wrestler enters every few minutes, and once everyone is in it becomes a 15-minute iron man stretch, with anyone pinned before the field fills being eliminated.

Ospreay’s road to this match has been anything but easy. Just days before the show, Samoa Joe and Tommaso Ciampa beat Ospreay and Andrade El Ídolo in tag action on Dynamite, with Joe choking out Andrade in the Coquina Clutch. Copeland, meanwhile, has publicly stated that 2027 will be his final year in wrestling, making this one of his last shots at the world title.

Mone vs. Thekla for the Women’s World Title

Mercedes Moné defends the AEW Women’s World Championship against Thekla in what many expect to steal the show. Thekla earned her title shot by beating Willow Nightingale in a number one contender’s match at All Out, and she has been on a tear ever since, pinning Lena Kross on the go-home Dynamite as part of Triangle of Madness’ win over Moné and Divine Dominion.

The bad blood is real: after All Out, Thekla attacked Moné in Paris, and the black mist spot in Cleveland proved the challenger’s faction is willing to do anything to bring the CEO down.

Every Title on the Line

The card is stacked with championship matches from top to bottom. Jon Moxley defends the Continental Championship against Mark Davis, who pinned Moxley clean in a six-man tag on the go-home show. Andrade El Ídolo faces Tommaso Ciampa for the National Championship after Ciampa vowed to put him to sleep a third time.

Elsewhere, The Young Bucks defend the tag titles against Kyle Fletcher and Kevin Knight, Swerve Strickland, Kofi Kingston and Austin Creed defend the trios titles in a two-out-of-three falls match against “Hangman” Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King, and Persephone defends the TBS Championship in a four-way against Dani Luna, Hyan and Queen Aminata. The undercard also features the start of a best-of-five series between FTR and the Motor City Machine Guns and a women’s tag showdown between Divine Dominion and the Sisters of Sin.
