This week’s AEW Dynamite kicked off with a shocker. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle of the Don Callis Family destroyed The Young Bucks in an AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator match — and earned themselves a shot at the tag titles.

Eliminator matches usually end with the champions standing tall, but this one broke the mold. The Bucks, still banged up from AEW WrestleDream, were quickly overwhelmed by the powerhouse duo. Davis sealed the win with a piledriver on Nick Jackson, scoring the pinfall and a dominant statement victory.
Title Shot Secured
With the win, Davis and Doyle are now officially in line for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. AEW has not yet revealed the date or venue for the title match, but the Don Callis Family duo suddenly look like the most dangerous team in the division.
The Young Bucks, who successfully retained their titles over Fletcher and Knight at WrestleDream, now face a very different kind of threat — one built on pure power rather than acrobatics.
What It Means
The squash booking signals a serious push for Davis and Doyle, who have been steadily rising as the heavy-hitting enforcers of the Don Callis Family. If the Bucks are still nursing injuries from WrestleDream, the title change could be more than a possibility.
