Robert Eggers’ Werwulf hits cinemas at Christmas, but fans can already pre-order an official perfume set inspired by the film. Focus Features has teamed up with Heretic Parfum for three fragrances representing each stage of a werewolf transformation.

The limited-edition set costs $55 and will not ship until at least November 6, according to IGN, though individual bottles are also available for $125 each. The scents are not subtle — and that is clearly the point.
Werwulf Perfume Set: The Three Scents Explained
The first fragrance, The Wode Hath Teth, is described as the scent of the feral woodland itself: cold bark, frozen soil and smoke in the air. It is pitched as resinous, mineral and austere.
The second, Werwulf, represents the transformation itself, with notes of skin, damp earth, root, resin and the suggestion of wet fur. Its description calls it intimate, warm and primal.
The third, Blodwode, is the darkest of the trio: bleeding tree bark, leather, musk and, in the official description, the heat of flesh that was once human. It is billed as animalic, resinous and untamed.
Heretic Parfum’s Movie Fragrance History
This is not Heretic’s first dive into horror cinema. The company previously made Nosferatu Eau de Macabre, with notes of wilting lilacs, vegan ambergris and strikes of lightning, and a fragrance for The Bride built around jasmine and rose stitched together as flesh, cedarwood as bone and frankincense as breath or spirit.
Heretic is perhaps best known for its viral collaboration with Gwyneth Paltrow in 2020. For Werwulf fans, though, the new set offers a very different kind of movie merchandise — one you wear rather than display.
