The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel Title Rumor and Story Details
According to The Verge, The Elder Scrolls 6: Sentinel is the title of the follow-up to Skyrim. The announcement could be timed to Skyrim’s 15th anniversary or Xbox’s 25th anniversary next month. The report also claims the game will take place in Hammerfell and dive into the history of the titular artifacts, letting players uncover their secrets firsthand for the first time.
Elder Scrolls 6 Release Date: Is 2028 Possible?
More details may emerge next year ahead of a possible 2028 release, though Bethesda tends to stay quiet until its games are close to the finish line — so raw gameplay could still be a long way off.
The road here has been long. Bethesda announced the game back in 2018, when it was still in the very early stages of pre-production, with the studio fully focused on Starfield — which didn’t ship for another five years. Since Starfield’s launch, The Elder Scrolls 6 has become the studio’s top priority.
