Hiroshi Fukuda, the creator behind the hit series Rock is a Lady’s Modesty, is starting a brand-new manga. The 108th issue of Comic Heaven magazine announced that his new series Koko wa Kagari no Territory (Here is Kagari’s Territory) will debut in the next issue on November 30.
For fans of the mystery genre, this is one to watch. The announcement teases a story built around identity and mystery, with the tagline: “The biggest mystery for me now is the girl who … me.” (Image Credit: Comic Heaven’s X/Twitter account © Hiroshi Fukuda, Nihonbungeisha)
What We Know About Hiroshi Fukuda’s New Manga
Details are still thin, but the teaser suggests a mystery-driven story centered on a girl named Kagari and her “territory” — whatever that turns out to mean. Fukuda has a track record of blending intrigue with strong character work, from his earlier series Mushibugyō and Gofun-go no Sekai to the schoolgirl-rock drama that made him a household name in recent years.
Comic Heaven, published by Nihonbungeisha, will carry the series from its November 30 launch. Given how quickly Rock is a Lady’s Modesty found its audience, expect this one to generate serious buzz as the debut approaches.
Rock is a Lady’s Modesty: Fukuda’s Runaway Hit
Fukuda launched Rock is a Lady’s Modesty (Rock wa Lady no Tashinamideshite) in Young Animal in October 2022. The manga follows Ririsa Suzunomiya, an elite ojou-sama hiding her secret love for rock music, and has been collected into eight volumes as of August 2025.
The series made the jump to anime in April 2025, premiering on TBS and 27 affiliate channels. HIDIVE streamed the series as it aired and is also streaming an English dub, cementing its status as one of the breakout music anime of 2025.
With that anime still fresh in fans’ minds, a brand-new Fukuda manga arriving this November is perfectly timed — and mystery fans have a new series to circle on their calendars.
