Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Reveals 12 Culling Game Character Posters Ahead of Season 4

JUJUTSU KAISEN has revealed 12 new character poster visuals for the Culling Game Arc Part 1 (Season 3), giving fans a dramatic new look at the sorcerers and curse users heading into the franchise’s most brutal arc yet. The poster drop also confirms key production details for Season 4, with Takeru Sato stepping into the director’s chair.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 character posters spotlight the huge cast assembled for the Culling Game, the deadly battle royale arc where the story’s biggest players are forced to fight under a ruthless set of rules.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Character Posters Set the Stage for the Culling Game

The 12 visuals are individual character posters, each spotlighting one of the key fighters of the Culling Game Arc Part 1. The posters lean into the arc’s dark, high-stakes energy — this is the stretch of the story where cursed energy battles escalate to all-out war, and the designs reflect how much the cast has changed since the Shibuya Incident.

The posters arrive as anticipation builds for the arc that will define the next chapter of the anime, adapting the material that longtime manga readers consider the most intense stretch of Gege Akutami’s story.

New Director, Same Studio: Season 4 Production Details

The announcement also confirmed the directorial lineup going forward. Takeru Sato, who served as an assistant director on Season 3, will direct the new season, while Shota Goshozono is listed as chief director. Sato commented on the weight of taking over the beloved series, saying he draws strength from “the passion and accumulated efforts of the staff and cast who have supported Jujutsu Kaisen up to this point.”

Studio MAPPA continues to animate the franchise, having handled both previous TV seasons and the movie, with Crunchyroll streaming them internationally.

The Manga Legacy Continues With Modulo

Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially ended on September 30, 2024, after a six-and-a-half-year serialization that concluded across 30 volumes, licensed in English by VIZ Media. But the franchise marches on: the Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo spin-off manga began a short-term serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in September 2025, and a teaser visual and trailer for Season 4 have already been revealed.

With 12 new Culling Game posters now public, the countdown to the arc’s animated debut is officially on.
