Big Cass, Rusev, Ethan Page Stable Rumor Explained

The speculation had a logical foundation. Big Cass and Ethan Page teamed on Monday’s WWE Raw to defeat Chad Gable and Dragon Lee, and Page and Rusev had already been teaming on Raw throughout the spring. Three big names with overlapping screen time is usually how WWE quietly assembles a faction.

But according to Fightful’s sources, nobody has actually communicated a stable plan to the talent involved — which either means the rumor is wrong, or it’s still in the very early stages where nothing has been formalized.

Rusev, for his part, has been off television due to injury, which makes any faction launch complicated. You can’t exactly build a three-man unit around someone who isn’t medically cleared.

What the Raw Tag Team Tells Us

Still, the pairing of Big Cass and Ethan Page on Raw is hard to ignore. Big Cass recently admitted his WWE heel return has been tough after 8 years away, so aligning with another established act could be the accelerant his comeback needs — whether or not Rusev ever joins them.

For now, though, the “stable” exists only in fan speculation. Until WWE says otherwise, it was just a one-off tag team on a Monday night.
