A new YA drama is sailing onto Netflix next month. The streamer released a trailer for Crew Girl on Wednesday, giving audiences a look at the coming-of-age story about an elite East Coast prep school’s teenage rowing team.

The trailer introduces audiences to 16-year-old Teagan Tao (Miku Martineau), a high-school student and star rower whose life is upended when her father’s misdeeds come to light, forcing she and her mom to relocate to the east coast. At her new school, Teagan becomes the coxswain of a dysfunctional all-boys rowing team.

The school year that follows includes loads of warring rivals, messy romantic entanglements, and betrayed friendships that spill drama both in and out of the boat.

The eight-episode series also stars Sam Braun as Josh Regis, Kyle Clark as Cam Dillinger, Jessica Paré as Teagan’s mom Ella, and Thomas Cadrot as Coach Matt Hayden.

Crew Girl was developed for television by Vivian Lin and Morwyn Brebner. The series is produced by Great Pacific Media, Thunderbird Entertainment’s scripted and unscripted live-action division.

Lin serves as writer, executive producer and showrunner. Jeff Norton (Geek Girl, Finding Her Edge), Lindsay Macadam, Hillary Zwick Turner, Tony Chung, and Lori Massini also serve as executive producers. Simon Barry, creator and showrunner of Netflix’s Bet, which also stars Martineau, directs the pilot episode.

There’s never a dull moment for an house full of 20-somethings in New York City.

FX released the trailer for the second season of its ensemble comedy Adults on Wednesday, giving viewers an idea of what will be in store for Samir (Malik Elassal), Billie (Lucy Freyer), Paul Baker (Jack Innanen), Issa (Amita Rao) and Anton (Owen Thiele). Adults follows the friends as they crash together in Samir’s childhood home.

The trailer, embedded above, also features glimpses of Season 2 guest stars including Gaten Matarazzo, Jake Shane, and Zosia Mamet. Others expected to appear in Season 2 include Susie Essman, Raven-Symoné, Isaac Powell, Ben Marshall, and more.

All eight episodes will be available on FXX on-demand and Hulu at premiere, while two episodes will premiere each week on FXX. The series will also be available on Disney+ internationally.
