By Mini PCs are having a moment, and this latest deal is a great example of why. The GMKtec M6 Ultra packs an AMD Ryzen 5 7640HS chip, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage into a box you could lose behind a monitor — and it is currently selling for just £399.64 on AliExpress.

That is a steep 60% cut from its £1,020.90 asking price, making it one of the more aggressive discounts we have seen in the compact PC space this year. While AI-driven demand has sent memory prices climbing across the industry, deals like this are a reminder that shrinking form factors still deliver shrinking prices.
A serious spec sheet for the money
Do not let the name fool you: despite the “M6 Ultra” branding, there is no Apple silicon inside. Instead you get AMD’s Ryzen 5 7640HS, a capable 8-core laptop-class processor, paired with a Radeon 760M integrated GPU. It will not replace a dedicated gaming rig, but for everyday work, streaming, and light productivity it is more than enough muscle.
Out of the box it runs a genuine copy of Windows 11 Pro, and the connectivity is generous for something this small: WiFi 6E, a wired LAN port, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, and USB 4.0. Add the included HDMI cable and VESA mount, and it can bolt onto the back of a monitor for an instantly tidy desk setup.
Plenty of room to grow later
One of the smartest things about this little box is that it is not a dead end. The machine supports upgrades to a full 128GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 8TB of M.2 storage, so you can start with the 16GB/512GB configuration now and expand later when memory prices settle down.
Buyers seem pleased with the hardware. AliExpress customers have given the GMKtec M6 Ultra an average rating of 4.9 out of 5, with reviewers praising the build quality and the bundled accessories. At this price it makes a strong case as a media server, a home-office workhorse, or a second machine for the family.
