LEGO’s Massive 5,682-Piece Venetian Neighborhood Set Arrives In November For $549.99

LEGO has unveiled its latest showpiece: the LEGO Icons Venetian Neighborhood, a stunning 5,682-piece set that brings the canals of Venice to your shelf. It’s priced at $549.99 and releases November 1 for LEGO Insiders and November 4 for everyone else.

A Venice You Can Build

The set depicts several intricate Italian buildings situated along a canal, connected by an arched bridge. According to the official description, the neighborhood includes a luxury villa, an artisan glassblowing workshop, and an astronomical clock tower. A long gondola fits neatly under the arched bridge, completing the postcard scene.

Standing over 19 inches high, 25 inches wide, and 13 inches deep, this is a true display centerpiece. The buildings are designed in a modular way, letting you remove roofs and entire floors to peek at the detailed interiors. Even better, the set can be separated into two distinct sections to create alternate display layouts.

Minifigures And A Free Gift

The neighborhood comes alive with 17 minifigures, including gondoliers, musicians, tourists, and two carnival-goers in costumes and masks. It also includes a rare 3D-printed street piano piece, a first-of-its-kind LEGO element.

Buyers at the LEGO Store also get the LEGO Icons Venetian Water Taxi (40898) as a free Gift With Purchase, a 322-piece set with a water taxi, dock setting, captain and tourist minifigures, and two pigeon figures.

At $549.99, it’s a premium price, but for LEGO Icons fans, the Venetian Neighborhood looks like one of the most beautiful sets of the year. Preorders are not available, so be ready when it drops in November.
