Cody Rhodes knows everyone is desperate for answers about his mysterious Marvel meeting — and he’s having a great time giving them absolutely nothing. The former Undisputed WWE Champion addressed the swirling MCU rumors head-on, and refused to confirm a single detail.

Speaking with Brandon Davis, Cody revealed that people have been throwing potential character names at him all day. One person sitting beside him even spent the day teasing supposed “details” that Cody insists aren’t real. But his message was clear: “if they were real, I wouldn’t say anything” — even if someone guessed correctly, he wouldn’t be the one confirming it.
A Lifelong Marvel Fan
Cody did share one genuine connection to the franchise: his childhood. He explained that he learned “every Marvel character you could” from trading cards and the animated series growing up — a Marvel education that stuck with him. He also noted that Marvel’s offices are packed with so much history and reference material that “you could take 30 minutes” to learn any character thrown at you.

Strip away the hype and all Cody has publicly acknowledged is that he visited Marvel’s offices, met with people there, and took a photo afterwards. “It’s been heavily discussed, but I never discuss it,” he said. “That’s the beauty. I’ve said nothing other than that was just a photo at a wonderful office after a wonderful meeting with wonderful people.”
Is Cody Rhodes headed to the MCU? He clearly knows exactly how much attention the meeting has generated — and he’s in no rush to end the speculation.
