La Catalina Declares A New Era — And Gets A Triple Threat
La Catalina opened the show, speaking about her AAA Reina de Reinas Title victory, saying she ended Flammer’s story and started her own. Las Toxicas interrupted, with Flammer insisting her story will begin again. Catalina tried to cause tension, asking who was better between Maravilla and La Hiedra because that’s who she wanted to face. Flammer said she would talk to Rey Mysterio. The legend responded by saying he would crown a number one contender for the Reina de Reinas Title by the end of the night after Flammer made her case.
La Hiedra also made her case for a title shot, with Rey reiterating he’d decide by the end of the night. In the end, Rey Mysterio announced La Catalina will defend the title against Flammer and La Hiedra in a triple threat — a huge test for the new champion.
Wagner Brothers Retain AAA World Tag Team Championships
In title action, the AAA World Tag Team Championships stayed with Los Wagner Brothers (El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. & Galeon), who defeated El Mesias & Mecha Wolf to retain. After the match, Perros Del Mal confronted the Wagner Brothers, and Mesias and Mecha attacked the champions before Nino Hamburguesa, La Parka, and Mr. Iguana hit the scene to go after Perros — setting up more chaos down the line. Also announced during the night: Fiscal challenged Abismo Negro for Heroes Inmortales.
