Role Model closed out the North American leg of his Chuck on Tour run with an emotional night at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre — the second of two sold-out LA dates in support of his third studio album, “Chuck Timely & the Hourglass”. But the celebration came with a sting: the singer canceled the following night’s finale in Berkeley due to illness, making the LA show the unexpected final stop of the tour.

According to Variety’s concert report, the night was a full embrace of the Chuck Timely persona — the fictionalized character at the heart of the new album. The 34-date North American trek kicked off September 9, 2026 in Bend, Oregon, with Samia opening, and routed through bucket-list venues including two nights at Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Shoutouts to Famous Friends
Role Model used the stage to shout out two friends who helped make his current era: influencer Jake Shane and singer Reneé Rapp. Both played a part in turning “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out” into a breakout hit — Shane famously joined him onstage in Dallas during the No Place Like Tour’s second stop, and Rapp stepped into the song’s viral onstage bridge moment at The Wiltern in April. The song went on to crack the Billboard charts, enter the Top 20 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, and become one of 2026’s defining live moments.
What’s Next
The North American leg may have ended a show early, but Role Model isn’t done. The tour heads to the UK and Europe in February 2027 with support from Keni Titus, including a stop at London’s OVO Arena Wembley. Fans in Berkeley, meanwhile, are still waiting to hear whether the canceled Greek Theatre date will be rescheduled.
