New Japan Pro-Wrestling has unveiled brand-new trophies for this year’s Super Junior Tag League, raising the stakes for the junior heavyweight division’s premier tag tournament. Double Helix Design Honors The Juniors
NJPW announced that each winning team member will receive a new trophy to commemorate their victory. The double helix design of the trophies “represents the boundless possibilities of a tandem in sync,” while the feather-textured film adds verticality, speed and flight — the defining traits of the junior heavyweight division.
This year, 12 teams will be vying for the prestigious new prizes, making this year’s competition even fiercer. The Super Junior Tag League has long been one of NJPW’s most exciting annual tournaments, showcasing the fastest and most aerial tag teams in wrestling.
Where To Watch
Fans can catch all the action in person at the venues across Japan, or live in English on NJPW World. The tournament lineup is set, and the road to Power Struggle begins Saturday — who will take home the new hardware?
