YH Entertainment Confirms the End of Group Activities

In an official statement, the agency explained that after thorough and thoughtful discussions with the members over a long period, the decision was made to conclude group activities and allow each member to focus on their individual endeavors. The agency thanked fans for their unwavering love and support throughout the group’s career, adding that it will forever cherish every moment shared under the name of TEMPEST.

YH Entertainment also apologized for the concern caused by the unexpected announcement and promised to spare no effort in expressing gratitude for the generous love fans have shown the group.

What Happens to Each Member Next

Member Hyuk will begin his mandatory military service on October 26. There will be no official send-off event on the day of his enlistment, as the site will be shared with other enlistees and their families — the agency respectfully asked fans to refrain from visiting and instead send their warm encouragement from afar so that Hyuk can complete his service safely and return in good health.

Meanwhile, the agency confirmed that its exclusive contract with Lew will conclude as of November 1, 2026. YH Entertainment thanked Lew for his time with the group and asked fans to send their love and support for his future endeavors.

The remaining four members — Hanbin, Hyeongseop, Eunchan, and Taerae — will continue together with YH Entertainment, but will pursue individual activities rather than continuing as a unit. The agency pledged its full support as the members work to show new sides of themselves.

Fans React to the Sudden Farewell

The announcement has left fans emotional, with many taking to social media to share memories and messages of support for all seven members. While the end of group activities marks a bittersweet moment, fans are hopeful that the members’ solo pursuits will bring exciting new chapters — and are already counting down to Hyuk’s eventual return from service.
