Christopher Daniels isn’t mincing words about Samoa Joe: in today’s wrestling landscape, there is simply no one else like him. The veteran shared his high praise in a new Going Ringside interview.

Daniels has faced the best of the best across his long in-ring career — AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, and the rest of TNA’s elite. But Joe stands apart. Daniels called him “one of the top guys ever,” “definitely one of one,” and “one of the toughest wrestlers I’ve ever faced.”
The definition of aura
For Daniels, what separates Joe is something harder to teach: “One of the guys that really defines aura and presence in professional wrestling. One of the best.” It’s the kind of endorsement that carries weight coming from a man who’s shared the ring with generations of top stars.
Daniels knew AJ Styles was special from day one
Elsewhere in the same interview, Daniels also recalled knowing from the very first time he worked with AJ Styles just how special the Phenomenal One would become. Two legends, one interview — and a reminder of how stacked the TNA golden era really was.
