Crunchyroll is doubling down on English dubs this week. The streaming giant has confirmed that the English dubs for the brand-new Magic Knight Rayearth anime and the second season of Sasaki and Peeps will both debut on Wednesday, giving fans a choice between subbed and dubbed for two of fall 2026’s most anticipated shows.

Magic Knight Rayearth’s English Dub Debut
The new Magic Knight Rayearth anime debuted on October 7 in TV Asahi’s “IMAnimation W” programming block, and the English dub now lands just two weeks later — a fast turnaround for a series with this much legacy. The story follows three high school girls, Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu, who are whisked from Tokyo Tower into the dying fantasy world of Cefiro, where they must become the Magic Knights and save Princess Emeraude’s crumbling realm.
CLAMP originally serialized the manga in Nakayoshi magazine from 1993 to 1996, inspiring two TV seasons in the ’90s and a three-episode OVA in 1997. This 2026 remake marks the franchise’s first anime outing in nearly 30 years, making the dub’s Wednesday arrival a nostalgia moment for longtime fans and a perfect entry point for newcomers.
Studio producers Justin Cook, Michael Harcourt, and Nathanael Harrison are leading the dub production, with talent coordination by Tara A. Williams and Brittni Hurley.
Sasaki and Peeps Season 2 Dub Details
The second season of Sasaki and Peeps (Sasaki and Pichan) premiered on October 7 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV, adapting writer Buncololi and illustrator Kantoku‘s popular light novel series. The season 2 dub cast features returning members, signaling that Crunchyroll is keeping the same beloved voices fans heard in season one.
For the uninitiated, the story follows Sasaki, an exhausted salaryman whose life changes forever when the adorable bird he buys from a pet shop turns out to be an incredible sage from another world — one that grants him supernatural powers and the ability to cross between worlds. The novels won both the Tankōbon and Novel categories of the 2022 Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! guidebook, and Yen Press is releasing them in English.
The dub’s production team includes adaptation supervisors Ben Phillips and Jarrod Greene, with the season’s 13th novel volume having shipped back in March.
Both dubs landing on the same Wednesday makes this one of the busiest dub-debut days of the season — and with both series streaming on Crunchyroll, fans can flip between Japanese and English audio with a single click.
