Cameras are rolling on one of K-entertainment’s most talked-about new pairings. TWICE’s Dahyun and rising actor Cha Woo Min have officially begun filming their upcoming romance film “Clouds Roll Like Gureumi” (literal title), with the production company announcing the start of shooting on October 21 and a target release in 2027.

A First Love Built on Two Worlds
The film follows a cheerful girl who has spent her entire life navigating the world in a wheelchair and a promising young swimmer who hides deep emotional wounds from everyone around him. It’s a tumultuous journey of first love and personal growth as the two become someone truly special to each other.
Dahyun stars as Gu Reum, a high school student who has used a wheelchair for all 17 years of her life due to paraplegia — but whose sunny charm, bright personality, and fierce self-esteem outshine everyone around her. A member of the school’s art club, Gu Reum becomes consumed by a desire to see and draw abdominal muscles firsthand, which leads her to the school swimming pool. There, she becomes the volunteer work mentor of Jun San (Cha Woo Min) — and her first love begins.
Cha Woo Min plays Jun San, Gu Reum’s first love. He’s a high schooler with a bright future in swimming, an impressive physique, and striking looks, but he hides insecurities and wounds no one knows about. Forced into volunteer work after being kicked out of training for fighting with a senior, he grows closer to Gu Reum — developing real feelings for her even as he battles years of deep-seated self-loathing.
Dahyun’s Acting Rise Continues
With “Clouds Roll Like Gureumi” now in production, Dahyun continues to build her acting résumé beyond the TWICE stage, pairing her natural charm with a role that blends warmth, humor, and heart. The fresh combination of the idol-turned-actress and Cha Woo Min has fans already counting down to 2027.
