What Happened in Episode 2

Love in Disguise, which premiered on tvN on October 19 and 20 and is streaming on Amazon Prime, tells the story of an unpredictable conglomerate heir, Yi Jun, played by Yim Siwan, who is suspected of murdering an employee. Opposite him, Seol In A plays detective Jae Hee, who disguises herself as a man to work as his personal assistant.

The buzzed-about moment comes after a heated confrontation between the two leads. The next day, Jae Hee is instructed to bring drinks to Yi Jun — only to be met by him wearing nothing but a towel after stepping out of the shower.

Despite her escape attempts, Yi Jun continues to speak to her and apologize for his earlier behavior, all the while accidentally letting his towel slip further and further. When Jae Hee pushes him away, she has to catch him before he hits the ground — and the towel comes off completely.

Netizens Can’t Stop Laughing

Rather than outrage, the reaction online has been pure comedy. Fans flooded social media with laughing reactions, calling the scene an amusing play on one of K-Drama’s most beloved tropes.

“I’ve only watched episode 1, but that scene keeps popping into my head LOL,” one viewer wrote, while another added: “I think that scene was meant to make people laugh LOL.” Others couldn’t get over the visual: “Im Siwan being held by Seol In-ah and making that pitiful, earnest-looking face is freaking hilarious LMAOOOO.”

With its first two episodes airing this week, Love in Disguise is already proving it can balance its murder-mystery intrigue with a healthy dose of rom-com chaos — and Yim Siwan’s comedic timing is doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
