BanG Dream! Ave Mujica Unleashes New Movie Commercial Featuring “Baddy Baddy”

“Baddy Baddy” also appears on Ave Mujica’s latest mini-album, which dropped on October 21, giving fans a way to take the film’s dark, theatrical sound home with them.

A Companion to the Film’s Story

The film is a continuation of the TV anime Ave Mujica: The Die is Cast, which debuted in January 2025 and was animated by Sanzigen. The new movie is being handled by Nichicaline (BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita) with Kodai Kakimoto at the director’s helm. And this isn’t the end of the road — a sequel series is already locked in for January 2027.

For those new to the story, the series follows Sakiko Togawa, who, after losing everything in a single night, gathers girls burdened with their own troubles and desires and raises the curtain on a perfect masquerade. On a stage where sorrow, death, fear, and love are stripped away, the question remains: will their masks shatter — or will they hold?
