WWE’s Friday night show is holding steady. The October 16 episode of WWE SmackDown drew 1.327 million viewers on USA Network, per Wrestlenomics.

The number is down slightly from the 1.352 million viewers the show drew on October 9. Friday’s episode scored a 0.32 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, in line with the 0.32 rating it posted the previous Friday.

What Drove the Numbers

The episode’s biggest moments translated strongly to YouTube. The top five most-viewed SmackDown videos from the week include Cody Rhodes PUNTING Baron Corbin in front of Randy Orton (999K views), the full segment of Trick Williams confronting Sami Zayn (484K views), and CM Punk and Kevin Owens getting into a tense backstage staredown (365K views).

The Cody Rhodes moment nearly crossing one million views signals which storylines are catching fire with the audience, as WWE builds toward its fall premium live events.

The Big Picture

SmackDown’s viewership has stabilized in the 1.3 million range since the move to USA Network, and the demo rating holding at 0.32 week over week gives WWE a consistent foundation heading into the final quarter of the year.
