Alice Kinsella completed a remarkable return to elite gymnastics at the 2026 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, delivering a “brilliant” floor routine in the Women’s Individual All-Around Final — her first major competition back after a year away from the sport following childbirth.

The British gymnast opened her floor rotation with a 1.5 through to double back, flowed through a 2.5 to front full, nailed a double wolf turn and stuck her double pike — scoring 13.300 and drawing huge applause from the arena crowd.
Alice Kinsella’s Floor Score and All-Around Finish
Kinsella’s comeback floor routine capped a solid all-around showing in Rotterdam. She finished 13th overall with 52.765, with her floor performance the standout of her night. Fellow Brit Abi Martin placed 18th with 51.599.
At the top of the standings, America’s Skye Blakely won the all-around gold with 55.733 — her first individual world title after missing two Olympic Games through injury — ahead of Russia’s Liudmila Roshchina (55.199) and China’s Ke Qinqin (55.032).
What Kinsella’s Return Means for Great Britain
For a British team that narrowly missed the team final in Rotterdam, Kinsella’s return is huge. Her 13.266 floor score in qualifying had already secured her a spot in the floor final, and her all-around final display proved a year away has not dulled her talent. With the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics on the horizon, having an experienced, multi-apparatus star back in the mix could not have come at a better time.
