Ave Mujica just dropped the official music video for “BADDY BADDY,” one of the latest songs from the BanG Dream! band, and it is already sending fans of the prima aurora anime film into a frenzy. The track was performed in the film, which is currently screening in Japanese theaters.
A commercial for the movie featuring “BADDY BADDY” had already been released ahead of the music video, building anticipation among the band’s devoted fanbase.

Ave Mujica BADDY BADDY Music Video Continues the Band’s Dominant Year
The release continues a packed year for the fictional-turned-real-life band. Ave Mujica, the gothic-metal group from the BanG Dream! franchise, starred in the anime series Ave Mujica: The Die Is Cast and has been releasing a steady stream of music videos for their latest tracks, including “The Whole Blue World,” “‘S/’ The Way” and “Sophie.”
The band was formed in 2023 and released their debut single, “Black Birthday,” in April of that year. Despite existing inside the BanG Dream! universe, Ave Mujica performs as a real band, complete with live concerts that draw huge crowds.
BanG Dream! Franchise Keeps Expanding
BanG Dream! is a multimedia music franchise created by Bushiroad president Takaaki Kidani. Launched in January 2015 as a manga, it has grown into one of the biggest girls-band franchises in Japan, spanning TV anime, live concerts, albums, singles, VTuber projects, the mobile game BanG Dream!
