The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call seasons 2 and 3 have found their new nurse. Ye-in Jeong of K-pop girl group LOVELYZ will join the cast of the hit webtoon-based live-action series as nurse Jang-mi Cheon, stepping into the role previously held by Ha-young.

Entertainment news site Variety reported the casting news, confirming that Jeong is on board for both upcoming seasons, which are currently in production and will stream exclusively on Netflix. Premiere dates for the new seasons have not been announced.

The Trauma Code Season 2 and 3 Release Expectations

The eight-episode first season debuted worldwide in January 2025 and became a breakout hit, topping Netflix’s global non-English TV show rankings and driving massive demand for a sequel. The series is based on the web novel Trauma Center: Golden Hour, written by Han Sani, who is himself an ENT doctor, adding a layer of medical authenticity fans have praised.

For readers who followed the source material, the webtoon Trauma Center: Golden Hour is available in English on WEBTOON, where the English version recently ended with an epilogue chapter on August 9.

With two seasons filming and a new cast member confirmed, Netflix appears to be going all-in on turning the medical drama into one of its signature Korean franchises.
