Apple’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, has officially been released — and T-Mobile is offering $1,000 off the device for anyone who does not want to pay the full $2,000 outright. No trade-in is required, but there are conditions attached to the deal.

The promotion gives you 50% off the iPhone Duo when you sign up for a new line on T-Mobile’s Experience Beyond plan and port in your number. The $1,000 discount is applied as bill credits spread over a 36-month period, and there is a one-time $35 connection charge.
T-Mobile iPhone Duo Deal: Plan and Price Details
The Experience Beyond plan costs $100 per month for a single line with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees. It includes unlimited talk, text, and 5G premium data, plus perks like Netflix (Standard with ads) and Hulu subscriptions, Apple TV for $3 per month, unlimited mobile hotspot, T-Satellite, yearly phone upgrade eligibility, and a five-year price guarantee.
International travelers also get unlimited text and 30GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico, plus unlimited text and 15GB of high-speed data in more than 215 other countries.
Should You Wait to Order the iPhone Duo?
If you want one, IGN’s advice is not to wait. The first round of orders have already sold out, and shipping times are running longer than normal due to high demand. T-Mobile says it will still honor the offer, and the deal terms will not begin until your new phone ships — so ordering sooner locks in the discount even if the phone takes a while to arrive.
For a $2,000 foldable, $1,000 off with no trade-in is one of the strongest launch deals available — provided you are happy committing to the Experience Beyond plan for three years of bill credits.
