Where do things stand with Dralistico potentially joining WWE? The AEW star’s contract is set to expire in December, and reports suggest he could be headed to WWE to work alongside his brother Dragon Lee, although nothing has been confirmed and the full picture is more complicated than the initial rumours suggested.

According to the original report, WrestleVotes was asked during a recent Q&A session where Dralistico stands, with rumblings that he wants to make the jump to WWE once his AEW deal ends. That would reunite him with Dragon Lee, who performs on Monday Night Raw and has reportedly committed to a new long-term WWE deal.

Dralistico WWE Rumours: What Sparked the Speculation

The speculation intensified after Dralistico posted an AI-generated picture of himself sitting behind what appeared to be prison bars, in handcuffs, with the caption “Maybe not for long?” Many fans read that as a tease of his AEW exit, especially as he has not competed in an AEW ring since June.

Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer subsequently reported that Dralistico’s AEW contract would have already expired had the promotion not added injury time to extend it through December. Alvarez also noted that when that injury time was added, AEW had held discussions with Dralistico about potentially re-signing him.

Dralistico has been with AEW since debuting in 2022 and officially signing in 2023, primarily working in tag team and multi-person matches alongside his brother Rush and their La Faccion Ingobernable stablemates, as well as wrestling for Ring of Honor and on the independent circuit in Mexico.

Why the Dralistico Story Is Not So Simple

However, Dave Meltzer later added important context on Wrestling Observer Radio. Meltzer said he had been told by people close to Dralistico that the bars in the picture referred to a visa issue, not a desperate desire to leave AEW, and that AEW believes WWE will make him an offer, while also planning to make Dralistico an offer of its own.

That leaves three possibilities on the table: Dralistico re-signs with AEW, he joins WWE and teams with Dragon Lee, or he takes up another role entirely, with some reports even floating the returning Sin Cara mantle as an option. For now, all of those remain rumours and reports, not announcements.

What is clear is the timeline. With December approaching, Dralistico’s future should become clearer soon, whether that means a new AEW deal, a WWE debut alongside his brother, or something else entirely.
