Bayley Taps Out Lyra Valkyria on WWE Raw
The match was the latest chapter in a rivalry that has gone firmly Valkyria’s way in recent months, with Bayley losing to her rival back in July and again in September. This time, under No Disqualification rules, Bayley made sure the story changed.
As expected, the closing stretch descended into chaos with weapons everywhere. Bayley caught Valkyria and powerbombed her into a trash can at ringside, then set her up on a ringside table and climbed to the top rope. Bayley crashed down with her signature elbow drop through the table, rolled Valkyria back into the ring, and finished her with a kendo stick-assisted crossface for the submission win.
What Bayley’s First Singles Win Since April Means
For Bayley, the win is about far more than one night. Months without a televised singles victory had left her chasing momentum, and beating the rival who had twice gotten the better of her, in a match built for violence, is exactly the kind of statement that resets a career trajectory.
For Valkyria, the loss stings, but the rivalry now feels wide open rather than one-sided. Bayley finally has the win she needed, and the question now is whether she can build on it, or whether Valkyria comes back even harder for the next chapter.
