Royce Keys is officially joining the WWE 2K26 roster, and the wrestler himself calls it a “great accomplishment” — because for the first time, he will not have to build himself in the game from scratch.

Royce Keys Joins WWE 2K26 Roster in Season 6 Ringside Pass
Keys will become playable as part of the Season 6 Ringside Pass in WWE 2K26, letting fans add him directly to their in-game roster. He arrives alongside Earthquake, Typhoon and Octagon Jr., who will also be made playable in the same season.
Speaking to Bleacher Report, Keys explained why the moment means so much to him. He has played almost every WWE video game, he said, and in each one he always created himself — hunting down the right moves and appearance to make a playable version of his own character.
Why Royce Keys Calls WWE 2K26 a Great Accomplishment
“It’s a great accomplishment because I think I’ve played almost every WWE video game, and I’ve always created myself,” Keys said. “And now I don’t have to do all the hard work of finding all the right moves, but it’s definitely a very high accomplishment for me.”
Keys also shared his long love of wrestling games, naming the Super Nintendo Royal Rumble title and No Mercy among his childhood obsessions, before moving through the SmackDown vs. Raw series and into the 2K era. He even mentioned emulated classics such as the old WrestleFest game, adding simply: “I love them all.”
Now, with kids of his own, Keys says he still plays the current games — only this time, when he loads up WWE 2K26, he will already be in it.
