BTS’s Jungkook set social media on fire when he reposted an Instagram post about BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s new song, sending both ARMYs and BLINKs into a frenzy within minutes.
Netizens were shocked to see the BLACKPINK’s Jisoo post appear on Jungkook’s own Instagram story. The repost instantly became one of the most talked-about K-pop moments of the day, with fans screenshotting and sharing it across platforms.
Jungkook Reposts Jisoo on Instagram, Sparks Massive Response
The original Instagram post was about Jisoo’s latest song release. Fans spotted that Jungkook had hit repost on it, and the discovery spread like wildfire. A viral tweet capturing the moment — captioned simply “JUNGKOOK REPOSTED A POST ABOUT JISOO” — racked up thousands of shares in no time.
The OG Instagram post’s comment section was flooded with reactions from both fandoms, many of them obsessed over the unexpected cross-group interaction. BTS and BLACKPINK are the two biggest K-pop acts in the world, so any overlap between them instantly becomes headline news.
Why the Jungkook and Jisoo Moment Broke the Internet
Crossovers between BTS and BLACKPINK members are rare public moments, and fans love reading into them. Jungkook’s support for a fellow artist’s new release — even a simple repost — was enough to dominate K-pop discussion boards for hours.
Neither Jungkook nor Jisoo has commented further on the repost, but the internet does not need an explanation. The moment has already been immortalized in fan edits, reaction threads, and countless quote-tweets celebrating the unexpected show of support.
