Hayden Christensen Burglar Story: What Happened
Speaking on stage at L.A. Comic Con, as reported by The Nerd Wire, Christensen told the audience about the bizarre incident from years ago. He was upstairs in his home when he heard the door open, and coming downstairs, he found a stranger holding his belongings.
“I’m like, is this a delivery guy?” Christensen joked on stage. “And I look and I’m like, this is all my stuff.”
Then came the twist straight out of a fan-fiction script: the intruder recognized the man whose house he was robbing. The burglar apologized to Christensen on the spot and handed back what he had taken, calling off the robbery in real time.
Hayden Christensen Even Offered the Burglar a Train Ticket Home
Remarkably, Christensen did not just accept his belongings back — he offered the man who had broken into his house a train ticket home, turning one of the most awkward moments of his life into a story of unexpected kindness.
Christensen, best known for playing Anakin Skywalker in the Star Wars prequels and later reprising the role in Disney+’s Ahsoka, has always been beloved by the fandom for his graciousness at conventions. This story might just top every convention anecdote he has ever told.
