100 Days of Deception Episode 8: The Morning-After Scene
Set during the Japanese occupation of Korea, the period spy romance follows Lee Ga Kyeong (Kim You Jung), a pickpocket who becomes an undercover spy for the independence movement and infiltrates the Japanese Government-General of Korea. There she becomes entangled with interpreter Kim Tae Woong (GOT7’s Park Jinyoung), who also goes by the name Sato Hideo — the adopted son of the Inspector-General of Korea.
On the previous episode, the pair went for drinks after work and opened up about their mothers and their respective pasts, which turned out to be more similar than they seemed. In a pivotal moment, Kim Tae Woong — who had been living as “Sato Hideo” — revealed his Korean name to Lee Ga Kyeong for the first time.
The new stills show Kim Tae Woong waking up half-dressed, with disheveled hair and a wound on his lip, holding the pawn shop ticket from the wallet Lee Ga Kyeong stole from him. When she arrives, the tension between them is unmistakable — and it follows them even to the office, where they get close enough to feel each other’s breath.
