A viral post claiming that actress Suzy is dating ATEEZ member Jongho has been met with widespread ridicule after gaining traction online. Netizens tore apart the so-called “proof”, calling the rumor one of the most absurd dating claims in recent memory.

What the Suzy Dating Rumor “Proof” Claimed
The post implied that Suzy and Jongho were secretly a couple based on similarities in their Instagram posts, captioned with the tag “private but not a secret.” The two interacted when they appeared on the same variety show back in 2024, which appears to be the only real connection behind the claim.
But netizens quickly dismantled the evidence. As one viral reply pointed out, there is more than a full month between their posts, and there is a seven-year age gap between the two stars. “He’s another junior to Suzy,” fans wrote, describing their relationship as more like “sister and little broskie” than a couple.
Why the ATEEZ Suzy Rumor Was Ridiculed
Fans noted that Suzy has always been close to her friends and juniors in the industry, even when those meetings happen privately. The interactions cited in the post were described as nothing more than a normal senior-junior dynamic — the kind of mentorship moment that happens constantly in Korean entertainment.
“There’s no way this could be true,” wrote one netizen, while others laughed at the idea that matching Instagram aesthetics counted as dating proof. The backlash was swift and unanimous: the “evidence” simply did not hold up.
This is not the first time ATEEZ has been swept up in dating speculation recently — the group has been at the center of several controversy-charged rumor cycles surrounding their latest comeback.
