“Today, November 1st, on our fourth wedding anniversary, I want to share some incredibly grateful, precious, and joyful news,” Soyeon wrote, revealing that “our baby will be born soon.” The photos showed her in a comfortable dress, cradling her belly with a heart emoji, and joking that she is already “waddling around with a growing belly.”
Soyeon Pregnancy Announcement Details
The pregnancy arrived as an unexpected gift during a difficult period for the couple. Soyeon recalled that her husband, footballer Cho Yoo Min, had spent four years preparing for his second World Cup — only to suffer an injury during the first match in the U.S. and return home alone just as he made the 2026 World Cup final roster. “While we were overcoming the greatest challenge of his career together, God unexpectedly and unplanned gifted us with this precious life,” she confided, calling it “a miracle.”
Soyeon added a double surprise for fans: hashtags including #SonMom confirmed the baby is a boy. “From the day we found out about the baby’s existence, both my husband and I have been fully aware of ‘gratitude,'” she wrote, saying they are happily spending each day with the baby — and joking that their son will surely look like his kind and diligent father, joining the family along with their adorable dogs.
