Kuraku Ichikawa’s Drama Queen manga is heading for its finale. The creator announced on X on Monday that the series will end in just four chapters, bringing the Shonen Jump+ series to a close less than two years after its December 2024 debut.

Drama Queen Manga Ending in 4 Chapters
Ichikawa launched the manga on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in December 2024. The publisher released the seventh compiled volume on September 4, and the final chapters will wrap up the story over the coming weeks.
For readers catching up, MANGA Plus publishes the series in English and frames its dark hook like this: hate brings pain to the world, and after saving the Earth, aliens have taken up residence alongside humans in Japan. Factory worker Nomamoto endures an abusive alien boss — until she meets Kitami, whose own family was killed by aliens. The two strike up a fast friendship, but then Kitami does the unthinkable.
Why the Drama Queen Ending Matters
The series stood out on Jump+ for blending sci-fi revenge drama with workplace unease, and a four-chapter countdown gives fans just enough runway to brace for the ending. With only one volume announced beyond the current release cycle, readers can expect the finale to land before the end of the year — and speculation about whether an anime adaptation might ever follow will have to wait until the last chapter lands.
