Unbound Co. — Taiji Ishimori and Robbie X — have won NJPW Super Junior Tag League 2026, defeating Ichiban Sweet Boys (Robbie Eagles and Kosei Fujita) in the finals at NJPW Power Struggle. The finish saw Ishimori catch Fujita in an inside cradle to seal the win.
It is the first Super Junior Tag League win for Ishimori and Robbie X, who reached the finals in 2025 before losing to House of Torture’s Douki and Sho.
Unbound Co. Win Super Junior Tag League 2026 Final
During the round-robin portion of the tournament, Unbound Co. finished atop A Block with a 4-1 record. Ichiban Sweet Boys topped B Block with the same 4-1 record, setting up the all-top-seed final at Power Struggle.
The rivalry has another chapter coming: after the match, Ishimori and X still do not hold gold, and the junior tag division now has an opening at the top — which brings the titles into play.
IWGP Junior Tag Team Titles Vacated After El Desperado Injury
After the match, Mistico — one-half of the IWGP Junior Tag Team Champions — confronted Unbound Co. while wearing both titles. With his partner El Desperado currently sidelined by injury, Mistico announced he would be vacating the championships.
Mistico even tried to hand the belts directly to Ishimori and X, saying he would find a new partner. But Ishimori had another idea: he suggested a three-way match between Unbound Co., Ichiban Sweet Boys, and Mistico and his new partner to crown new champions.
