Rapper Yang Hongwon has broken his silence on the viral cheating scandal swirling around him, admitting he visited a motel with another woman just five days after his wedding — while firmly denying that anything romantic or sexual happened between them.
His agency, AP Alchemy, released an official statement on Friday, October 24, responding to allegations made by an individual identified only as “A.” The agency called the claims false and said evidence shared online had been deliberately edited to create a misleading impression.

Yang Hongwon Motel Visit: What His Agency Says Happened
According to AP Alchemy, Yang had been in contact with A after meeting them by chance. Following a performance, he went to A’s home for drinks — and that is where the night took an unexpected turn.
While they were drinking, A allegedly told Yang and the woman to leave the home and directed them to a specific motel. The agency claimed the pair had little choice but to leave together, and so they went to the motel.
Once inside the room, Yang allegedly fell asleep almost immediately, the agency said. The woman later tried to wake him but felt uncomfortable making physical contact with him, and eventually asked A for help before returning home with A.
Agency Accuses Accuser of Editing Evidence for Money
AP Alchemy went further, alleging that A later ran into financial difficulties and used the motel visit to demand money from Yang. The agency claimed A edited previous conversations to support the allegations.
It also alleged that after Yang and the woman reported the situation to police, A pieced together conversations and call records before making the claims public.
While confirming the motel visit itself, the agency strongly denied that Yang and the woman engaged in any romantic or sexual activity.
Scandal Erupts Days After Yang Hongwon’s Wedding
The timing has only fuelled the online firestorm. The controversy comes less than a week after Yang married former model Won Hyunjoo on October 18, making the motel admission a particularly explosive headline for fans.
As the story continues to spread across social media, neither Yang nor his agency has announced any further legal action beyond the police report already mentioned in the statement.
