Penta and Je’Von Evans Challenge for World Tag Titles at Crown Jewel
The match was announced on this week’s episode of Raw by general manager Adam Pearce. Evans and Penta requested the title shot after being attacked by The Vision on the same show, and Pearce made it official on the spot.
The pairing of Penta and Evans is one of the most exciting in WWE right now. Penta brings big-match experience, high-flying offence and a loyal fanbase, while Evans, one of the most athletic young stars in the company, has been turning heads with his fearless, acrobatic style. Together, they offer a genuine threat to any champions.
Can The Vision Survive Crown Jewel?
Standing in their way is The Vision, the Bron Breakker and Austin Theory duo that has combined raw power with ruthless opportunism. Breakker’s explosive athleticism and Theory’s cunning make them a formidable champion pairing, and they have shown no hesitation in taking shortcuts, as their attack on Evans and Penta proved.
Crown Jewel now has another must-see title match on its card, and the challengers will arrive with revenge on their minds as well as gold. If Penta and Evans can survive The Vision’s onslaught, they could walk out of Crown Jewel as the new World Tag Team Champions.
