Che’s Israeli Election Jokes Fall Flat on SNL Halloween Show
Leadoff jokes from Jost focused on Trump’s obsession with John Husted’s ass, while Che’s jokes about the Israeli election fell flat — “very flat,” as one recap put it. The long-awaited segment marked the first time the Halloween edition of Weekend Update took on the Israeli election directly.
Pennywise Cameo and Jost’s Epstein-Prince Andrew Bit
The segment also featured a cameo by Ben Marshall’s Pennywise, the creepy clown giving the news desk a Halloween flavor. Jost performed a “Hear Me Out” segment defending the tight friendship between Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew — a bit described as short enough to stay a little funny.
“Even Vice President JD Vance came out and said that he was jealous that President Trump has never complimented his butt. What the hell is going on! Your party is about to lose the midterms, stop playing ‘smash or pass’ with each other!” exclaimed Jost.
