This year’s 12th issue of Shogakukan‘s Big Comic Superior magazine revealed on Friday that Satoshi Miyakawa Namae no Nai Byōki (A Disease Without a Name) manga will end in three chapters. The manga’s next chapter will be in the magazine’s next issue on June 12.

The manga debuted in August 2024. Shogakukan published the manga’s third compiled book volume on February 27.

The manga tells the story of Miyakawa’s older brother who has been a recluse for 30 years. The story won the grand prize in the magazine’s Superior Document Comic Grand Prize this year. Miyakawa won 1 million yen (about US$6,784) and a guaranteed serialization.

The manga ranked in the top 20 manga for male readers in the 2026 edition of Takarajimasha‘s Kono Manga ga Sugoi! (This Manga Is Amazing!) guidebook.

Kawa and Miyakawa launched a manga titled Ochiai Hiromitsu no Oreryū Tensei (Hiromitsu Ochiai’s Self-Reincarnation), based on the “legend” of the famous former professional baseball manager and player Hiromitsu Ochiai, in Kodansha‘s Morning magazine in March 2024.

Miyakawa and Keisuke Gotō ended the Wanope Joker manga in 2023. Miyakawa and Gotō launched the manga in Morning in January 2021 as part of a collaboration between the magazine and DC Comics. Kodansha published the manga’s third and final compiled book volume in April 2023. DC Comics released the manga in English.

Miyakawa and Kei Itō launched the Uchū Senkan Tiramisu (Space Battleship Tiramisu) manga on Shinchosha‘s Kurage Bunch website on October 2015, and ended in 2020.

The manga inspired a 13-episode anime series that premiered in April 2018. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan, and Funimation streamed an English dub. A second season titled Space Battleship Tiramisu Zwei premiered in October 2018. Crunchyroll again streamed the series with subtitles, and Funimation streamed a dubbed version as it aired in Japan.

NieR:Automata’s 2B & A2 Survive the Night in Dead by Daylight Collaboration – Interest

Behaviour Interactive, creators of the asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror video game Dead by Daylight, launched a collaboration with the popular video game NieR:Automata on Tuesday. The staff first teased on Saturday, “The fight for humanity continues in The Fog,” and then posted a promotional video:

The collaboration’s “Legendary Outfits” include a 2B costume for Feng Min and A2 costume for Yui Kimura. Killer players will receive a Very Rare Outfit inspired by Emil for The Legion.

Dead by Daylight is no stranger to collaborations with anime and manga. In July 2022, the game partnered with popular anime series Attack on Titan for a set of player cosmetics. The game also had two anime related collaborations in early 2025 with manga creator Junji Ito that January and popular horror anime series Tokyo Ghoul that March.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric multiplayer game where one player takes control of a savage killer, who hunts down four other non-killer players in a killing ground. The goal of the non-killer players is to escape the killing ground. The game is well-known for featuring a wide cast of killers from other media franchises including Silent Hill, Halloween, Stranger Things, and many others. The game launched in June 2016 for PlayStation 4 and for the Xbox One in 2017. It was ported to Nintendo Switch in 2019, and PlayStation 5, Stadia, and Xbox Series X|S in 2020.

The NieR:Automata game shipped for PlayStation 4 in Japan in February 2017, followed by North America and Europe in March 2017. Square Enix also released the game on PC via Steam in March 2017, and on Xbox One in June 2018. The game launched on Switch in October 2022.

The game inspired a television anime NieR:Automata Ver 1.1a, which premiered in January 2023. The second cours (quarter of year) premiered in July 2024. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.

Toshiaki Yamada’s Tokyo Duel Manga Ends – News

Coamix‘s Comic Zenon+ manga website published the final chapter of Toshiaki Yamada‘s Tokyo Duel (Tokyo Kettō Kanjōsen) manga on September 23. The final chapter became free to read on Wednesday. 

Coamix publishes the manga volumes in English digitally. Comikey also releases the manga and describes the story:

In post-war Japan, a government-funded program of organized violence called the “Tokyo Loop Line Duels” is promoted to maintain law and order—and it works. Representatives from each station on the Yamanote line battle for control of their territory. Any defeat could mean losing family members, friends, money—or worse. Fast-forward to now, in 2020; a new station has opened up. Everyone, including the popular rookie, Koinosuke, is itching to join the fray for the top spot. Will he be victorious? Or will violence consume them all?

Yamada launched the manga on Comic Zenon+ in 2020. Coamix will publish the manga’s 22nd and final compiled book volume on November 20.

Monster Hunter Rise Game Sells 20 Million Copies Worldwide – News

The official X/Twitter account for CAPCOM‘s Monster Hunter franchise announced on Friday that the Monster Hunter Rise game has surpassed 20 million copies sold worldwide.

Monster Hunter Rise launched on Nintendo Switch in March 2021 and then launched on PC via Steam in January 2022. CAPCOM released the game on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Xbox Game Pass in January 2023. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion for the game debuted for Switch and PC via Steam in June 2022, and launched on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, and Xbox Game Pass in April 2023.

Monster Hunter Wilds, the latest main game in the franchise, debuted globally on PS5, Xbox X|S, and PC via Steam in February 2025. The game sold over 8 million copies worldwide in its first three days. According to the company, this is the fastest that one of its titles has reached this milestone. As of March 2025, the game had sold 10 million copies worldwide. The game’s Monster Hunter Wilds Ascendance expansion will launch in 2027. The game will get a Nintendo Switch 2 release on December 4.
