If you have not locked in your copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake yet, now is the time. Physical preorders are currently $10 off at both Amazon and Walmart — and first printings come with a textured foil cover while supplies last.

Amazon has the game down to $59.88 (was $69.99), with Walmart close behind at $59.98. Preorders have been live for a little over a month, and with the game looking more stunning with every new trailer, demand is only climbing.
Why the Discount?
It is actually simple. As is Nintendo’s custom for this console generation, the MSRP is $59.99 for digital and $69.99 for physical. To steer fans toward their storefronts, Amazon and Walmart consistently knock physical prices down to match or beat the digital price — a pattern also seen with other Switch 2 exclusives like Star Fox, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, and Switch Sports Resort.
Important: once the game releases, the price goes back up. This is purely a preorder incentive.
Physical Is the Way to Go
There is an even better reason to buy physical: Nintendo confirmed the first printing of physical copies includes “textured foil cover art” — a collector’s bonus available only while supplies last. And unlike some Switch 2 releases, the complete full game comes on the cartridge. No game key card.
A $10 discount, a foil cover, and the full game on cart — if you were on the fence, the fence just got a lot more comfortable to jump off.
